Are you a crafty green thumb who enjoys cooking? Let your skills shine as a Horticulture Therapy Assistant Volunteer! You will work directly with a Horticulture Therapist that teaches participants how to grow plants both indoor and outdoor, cook with grown ingredients and make natural, eco-friendly crafts! The primary roles are assisting with the program delivery, assisting the participants in the program activities and evaluating the program and participants. The program runs Wednesday afternoons from 12:30-3:30 pm at our main office: 12001- 44 Street SE Calgary. We are looking for 1- 2 volunteers. A current police check and child intervention check must be completed prior to starting the program.
