Do you like to try new things? Do you like to experience local cultural opportunities and help out local business? Do you like to help build the spirit of inclusion in your community? Then CommunityWorks Canada® is for you! CommunityWorks Canada® is a pre-employment after-school program for teens with autism to make new friends and gain valuable work experience while building communication and social skills. We are seeking individuals aged 15-21 to provide peer mentorship for these youth. Participation involves a group program orientation and weekly sessions volunteering as an inclusive group in various local organizations in Calgary. Past partners have included such business as: the Calgary Zoo, the City of Calgary, the Calgary Winter Club, and many others.
