Join the local organizing committee for the CIBC Run for the Cure. The Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) CIBC Run for the Cure brings together an incredible community of people that have either a personal connection to breast cancer or want to show their support. It’s an inspirational day that raises millions of dollars for CCS, the largest charitable funder of breast cancer research in Canada. CCS invests these dollars in the most promising breast cancer research that is leading the way in prevention, diagnosis and treatment and care, as well as funding Canada’s leading breast cancer patient support network, which works to improve the quality of life and the emotional support needed for those affected by this disease. As a committee member, you will work collaboratively with a group of volunteers and remote staff to ensure the execution and success of the 2018 CIBC Run for the Cure. Once the committee is formed, the group will work together to determine which roles on the committee are best suited to each person (Exceptions apply to the Run Director position and the Volunteer Engagement Lead).
