'Canadian Liver Foundation' Partners With 'Calgary Chinese Community Service Association' to Record Liver Awareness Information in Mandarin
The Canadian Liver Foundation shares the knowledge gained through research to improve the lives of liver disease patients and protect others who are at risk. At the same time, we seek to eliminate the barriers that may limit patients’ access to research breakthroughs.
We were happy to partner with the Calgary Chinese Community Service Association to record liver awareness information in Mandarin. After meeting through one of Propellus' VELC events (Volunteer Engagement Learning Community), we quickly mobilized on recording the information that was aired in late February/early March on 94.7 Fairchild FM. Wilma Li, a volunteer with the Canadian Liver Foundation was kind enough to translate the information into Mandarin and be the voice of the Canadian Liver Foundation for this great partnership in eliminating barriers to information.
