Learning Communities

As a hub of non-profits, we know that our membership includes intelligent, collaborative and thoughtful minds. We put those minds to work with three peer-learning communities: Volunteer Engagement, Evaluation, and Social Innovation. Our learning communities provide regular forums for individuals to dive deep into topics, share knowledge and best practices, and develop strong networks.

Upcoming Learning Communities

16th Evaluations Community of Practice YW Calgary - Sheriff King Home 2003 16 St SE More Details

Welcome to our 16th Evaluations Community of Practice Event! This Community of Practice is for individuals involved in evaluations for non-profit organizations in and around Calgary. In this peer learning group, we discuss current best practice, successes, and challenges in evaluation.

Big shout out to ECOP member, Randy Thornhill, and YW Calgary for hosting the second session of 2018.

For the second session of the year, we're going to have a facilitated chat about how to use your evaluation skills to support other areas within your organization, such as communications, marketing, fund development, etc.

If this will be your first ECOP meeting, fear not! Let us know on check-in that it's your first meeting and we'll show you the ropes. We hope you can join us for some learning, idea sharing and networking! Aimed at those engaged in outcome measurement, evaluation, and/or reporting within your organization.
